David is the Director of Corporate Safety and Risk at NPL Canada, one of North America’s largest pipeline energy full- service provider of construction and maintenance within the utility industry across Canada. David has extensive global experience in Energy, Marine, Petrochemical operations, Food Manufacturing and Distribution. At NPL Canada, David leads a team of professionals whose portfolio includes Risk Management, Workers Compensation, COVID mitigation, Contractor Management, Learning Management, Insurance and Claims Administration. He has been a panelist at various Safety Association conferences and represented Canadian Operations on Global EHS and Ergonomic Councils. He is also a JVS volunteer mentor providing occupation information to newcomer EHS professional mentees. David holds a BSc (Hons) Occupational Health, Safety and Environment, Engineering Dip. and is a Canada Registered Safety Professional (CRSP). The breadth of his experience has proven an asset to business partners both internal and external.
