In April 2020, Robin was seconded to the Nova Scotia Department of Justice to provide OHS expertise, enterprise risk management and business continuity during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Robin has over 30 years’ experience in occupational health & safety and holds a MSc in Management Systems from Royal Roads University (British Columbia) and a BSc Honours in Biological Sciences from the University of Guelph (Ontario).

Robin has worked in chemical manufacturing, oil and gas exploration, oil refinery operations and industrial manufacturing and has held various positions within provincial and federal governments in the areas of safety and occupational hygiene. Robin has been a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP)® since 2006.

Robin is fluent in both official languages of Canada, French and English.

Robin is the recipient of the Canadian Occupational Safety Top Women in Safety, 2022, the Executive Director’s James L. Crane D Leadership Award, 2021, the Minister’s Award for Exceptional Contribution to Corrections, 2020 and the Deputy Minister’s award of Outstanding Performance and Lasting Contribution 2019.
